Jackie grew up playing all kinds of sports but played soccer at the provincial and university level. She has won a national championship with Team BC at the Canada Games as well as a National Championship with the University of Victoria. Jackie graduated from UVic with a degree in Health and Recreation and started her career with Commonwealth Games Canada where she worked internationally in the Caribbean with the Dominica Olympic Committee.
When Jackie returned to Canada, she discovered CrossFit and loved the team component of competition. Jackie competed at the Crossfit Games with Team Taranis 3 times (2013-2015). Since then Jackie has turned her focus back to her career in Sports Administration and coaching CrossFit. In 2023, Jackie began racing in duathlons and is now enjoying working towards her athletic potential in a new sport.
Jackie’s strengths include organization, program implementation and communication. Jackie loves coaching fitness to anyone looking to improve themselves, regardless of age or previous experience. She believes that caring for your health and wellness can be empowering and build a new sense of self confidence that can be life changing.
