Meredith has been involved in sports and athletics for her entire life. She competed at the state level in U18 swimming and soccer. After university she transitioned into cycling and triathlon before stumbling her way into a CrossFit gym and falling in love with progressive strength and conditioning training. She competed at the national level in Olympic weightlifting in the 53kg and 58kg weight classes and was ranked in the top 10 nationally in the 58kg weight class. After several years competing in Olympic weightlifting she shifted her focus to competing in the sport of CrossFit and competed at the regional level before eventually qualifying and competing at The CrossFit Games as an individual in 2018. For most of her athletic career, she also maintained a full time career as an engineer in the biotech industry. In 2018, Meredith founded Tactic Nutrition with her partner Alex Parker and has spent the last five years building that company into the largest nutrition coaching company in Canada. Meredith’s strength is breaking down complex topics into digestible components and communicating them in a clear way to help people feel empowered in their health and fitness regardless of where they’re at. She believes that progress is possible for anyone who is willing to commit to long term growth. Her passion is in helping people uncover their potential in and out of the gym through patience and hard work. While she has retired from competitive fitness, Meredith now enjoys using her fitness in a variety of mountain sports that she enjoys doing with her partner Alex and their dog Rue.
